We are looking for candidates to fill the position of Switchboard Operator (01)
Interested candidates should be able;
To answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and provide information to clients
Key Result Areas
The post holder is required to:-
• Monitor incoming calls to make sure they are answered within a reasonable amount of time
• Keep records of calls placed, received, and transferred
• Offer special assistance to persons such as those who are unable to dial or who are in an emergency situation
• Provide information to callers, such as booking doctors’ appointments or emergency contacts and any other services
• Record incoming calls, and messages, and distribute them to the appropriate individual or department where necessary
• Receive and route incoming calls to the appropriate person or department
• Answer questions about company products or services offered
• Work with front desk personnel, consultant clinic coordinators and perform any other administrative tasks assigned by the supervisor
• Provide a handover report to your colleague every after the shift

• Excellent verbal & telephone communication skills
• Strong listening & interpersonal skills
• Ability to operate a telephone switchboard
• An upbeat and pleasant phone voice
• Ability to speak clearly & concisely
• Ability to multitask & work with minimal supervision
• Must be able to make informed decisions quickly and, execute those decisions with confidence
Knowledge/Qualifications and Experience
• Diploma in a related field
• Two (2) years’ experience in switch board operations preferably in a hospitality industry
