Job Description…We are looking for candidates to fill the positions of Human Resource Operations Officer (01)
Interested candidates should be able;
To facilitate and enable fast and effective HR operations transaction services in collaboration with Line Managers and the HR Team.
Key Result Areas
The post holder is required to:-
• Responsible for employee related data and ensuring that employee information is always updated both in the HRMIS and on the physical files.
• Manage the HRMIS roll out and train all employees on use. Enroll all new employees on the HRMIS and liaise with IT to provide the requisite access rights.
• HR Policy compliance custodian – ensuring all HR related activities are done as per policy. Ensure policy changes are followed and implemented, staff are sensitized and updated at all times with current HR policies.
• Take charge of the hospital employee relations and disciplinary management process end to end in liaison with line managers and the disciplinary committee. Handle all disciplinary matters in the hospital. Conduct appropriate investigations, bring matters to a reasonable business conclusion and escalate cases of significance to higher HR/Legal team members that have the potential of a business unit and/or company-wide impact.
• Coordination of the annual HR audit by ensuring compliance, information collection and provision to the audit team and ensuring a successful audit.
• Payroll management & administration, ensuring that all statutory requirements are obliged with.
• Ensure efficient management of the central database system including all staff files
• Ensure efficient and timely provision of payroll services for all staff including
o Payments/deductions
o Tax affairs
o Statutory compliance
• Ensure the necessary management information required (HR Analytics) is provided as and when needed. Head count reports, joiners and leavers reports, and leave reports and others as may be required.
• Manage the administrative parts of the staff separation process and exit interviews.
• Participate in the review and implementation of HR Policy
• Liaison person with the Sacco Manager – sign all Sacco loan requests.
• Effectively manage the staff the GPA/workman’s compensation insurance.
• Responsible for documentation in the HR department by ensuring timely, accurate and standard letters, effective filing and centralized management.
• Proactively manage staff leave – obtain leave plans from heads of department and collate hospital wide leave plan, on a monthly basis track leave utilization and report on the same. By end of year ensure more than 90% leave taken.
• Lead attendance tracking and management. On a monthly basis receive attendance reports from each head of department, track absenteeism, late coming and analyze and report on the same hospital wide.

• Good knowledge of labor law
• Hands-on experience with Human Resources Information Systems
• Ability to develop clear and fair company policies and apply them fairly
• Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities
• Team management skills
Knowledge/Qualifications and Experience
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or relevant field
• Three year’s working experience in a busy environment
