We are looking for a candidate to fill the positions of Cafeteria Services Supervisor (01)

Interested candidates should be able to;
To lead and supervise a team of waiting staff, ensuring exceptional service, maintaining high standards of operational efficiency and contributing to the overall success of the cafeteria.

Key Result Areas

The post holder is required to:-
•⁠ ⁠Lead and motivate a team of waiting staff, providing clear instructions, constructive feedback and ongoing training.
•⁠ ⁠Conduct regular performance evaluations and identify opportunities for individual development.
•⁠ ⁠Maintain a positive and productive team environment, fostering open communication and collaboration.
•⁠ ⁠Manage staffing schedules and ensure adequate coverage during peak periods.
•⁠ ⁠Train and coach the waiting team on client service best practices, ensuring they deliver a warm, welcoming and efficient dining experience.
•⁠ ⁠Address guest concerns promptly and professionally finding solutions that exceed expectations.
•⁠ ⁠Proactively identify and anticipate client needs, and offer the best possible solutions.
•⁠ ⁠Monitor and ensure smooth table turnover, minimizing wait times and maximizing seating capacity.
•⁠ ⁠Oversee food and beverage service, ensuring orders are delivered accurately and efficiently.
•⁠ ⁠Identify and address operational bottlenecks, implementing solutions to improve efficiency and profitability.
•⁠ ⁠Assist with maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
•⁠ ⁠Manage point-of-sale systems and ensure accurate order taking and billing.
•⁠ ⁠Upsell and promote menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
•⁠ ⁠Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to management.
•⁠ ⁠Ensure adherence to all food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
•⁠ ⁠Monitor and respond to safety hazards, maintaining a safe working environment
•⁠ ⁠Plan necessary safety and sanitation training and ensure the team is up-to-date.
•⁠ ⁠Any other duties as may arise.
Competencies/Abilities:
•⁠ ⁠Proven leadership and communication skills, both written and verbal.
•⁠ ⁠Excellent organizational and time management skills.
•⁠ ⁠Proactive problem-solving and decision-making skills.
•⁠ ⁠Knowledge of food and beverage service procedures and best practices.
Ability to operate point-of-sale systems

Knowledge/Qualifications and Experience
•⁠ ⁠A Bachelors in Hospitality and Hotel Management or an equivalent
•⁠ ⁠Previous experience in a 5 star hotel with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
